Player Account & Verification

Player Account & Verification

Step-by-step guide for footballers to set up, publish, and operate their viewfoot account.

1. Sign up with a working email

Head to app.viewfoot.com, choose the player option, and create your account with an email you check regularly. We use this address for verification and recruiter notifications.

2. Confirm your email address

Open the verification email from viewfoot and click the confirmation link. You cannot publish your profile or upload video until your email is verified.

3. Build the profile basics from the dashboard

  • Upload a recent photo (square crop works best).
  • Add your primary and secondary positions.
  • List career history, current club status, and contract details.
  • Share your availability window and preferred contact method.
  • Use the guided onboarding flow and profile coach to close the biggest missing fields first.

Profiles that stay complete and recently updated perform better across recruiter-facing surfaces.

4. Add representation details (optional but recommended)

If you work with an agent, include their contact info and licensing details. Recruiters can then route introductions to the right person from the start.

5. Invite a guardian early if the talent is under 18

Guardian approval is what unlocks recruiter visibility, secure messaging, and billing for under-18 accounts. Send the invite before you expect the profile to go live.

6. Review privacy, plan, and visibility settings

Choose whether your profile is public to verified recruiters or invite-only. You can unpublish the profile at any time from the account settings page. When you need uploads, analytics depth, and progression features, start the paid plan trial from billing.

7. Upload footage and add annotations

Upload full matches or highlight clips, then annotate the key actions manually. Keep notes short, specific, and useful for a scout reviewing quickly.

8. Publish and monitor activity

Once your profile is ready, publish it. Use the unified dashboard to monitor profile readiness, video performance, secure conversations, trial requests, and next actions.
