Recruiter Wishlist Workflow

Recruiter Wishlist Workflow

How clubs, agencies, and scouts organise prospects and follow-up inside viewfoot.

1. Create a new wishlist

From the recruiter dashboard, click New Wishlist and name it after the brief you are working on (for example "U19 Wide Players"). Set a default priority so new additions start with the right urgency.

2. Search the talent directory

Use filters for position, age, nationality, location, competition level, and video availability. Recently updated profiles appear first, helping you focus on active players.

3. Add prospects with context

When a profile looks promising, click Add to Wishlist. Add a short note ("strong 1v1 dribbler" or "follow up after January camp") so teammates understand why the player is on the list.

4. Track review status

Update the status column as you progress:

  • NEW – Added but not yet reviewed.
  • VIEWED – Video checked; pending deeper evaluation.
  • SAVED – Worth monitoring or scheduling live scouting.
  • CONTACTED – Outreach initiated with the player or their representative.
  • REJECTED – Not a fit for the current brief.
  • EXPIRED – Opportunity passed (contract renewal, transfer completed, etc.).

5. Bookmark key clips

Inside each player profile you can bookmark annotated clips for quick reference. They appear alongside the wishlist entry so you can revisit them during meetings.

6. Start secure conversations

When you are ready to speak with the player, start a secure conversation from the profile or shortlist flow. Under-18 conversations keep guardians in the loop automatically.

7. Move concrete opportunities into Trial Tracker

Use Trial Tracker once interest becomes a real visit, trial, or follow-up cycle. This keeps requests, confirmations, and outcomes attached to the same workflow.

8. Collaborate with your team

Everyone in your recruiter organisation sees shared wishlists. Use notes and status updates to avoid duplicate work and keep a transparent trail.

Wishlists stay lightweight on purpose: shortlist first, then message and trial from the same product.
